I have been working as a Graphic Artist in British Columbia for over 25 years. The past few years I have been sharing a unique approach to papier mache with students and teachers within the district. I design projects that compliment lessons taught in the elementary school level. (There are also projects for special occasions and some just for fun.)
Students learn about design, proportion, perspective, sculpture and the use of colour. It's a great opportunity for them to have fun and get a little messy, while they are learning and creating a unique piece of art.
Each class is approximately one and a half to two hours long, depending on the project. The sculptures take at least two weeks to properly dry before they can be painted. I have lots of great ideas but if you are looking for something specific, let me know and I can design a project just for you.
We arrive early to set up, teach the class and then clean up afterwards. All supplies and equipment are included in the price per student, unless indicated otherwise.
